Ten years ago—when Ana Claudia founded her design studio—the principal designer knew that making clients feel better as soon as they walked through their door was important to her. Today, this goal is essential to Ana Claudia and her team.

When asked by a developer to stage an apartment unit, Ana Claudia Design decided to go beyond what was considered sellable and instead create a client with a story. They designed this space for a family of four, one child in elementary school and the other in middle school—in other words, the space did not need to be child safe, but it couldn’t be too precious either.

Because this imaginary family loved warm tones, Ana Claudia’s team focused on crafting an impeccable color palette. The goal was to choose warm tones that were soft on the eyes, something reflective of the bronze used in the kitchen area. An array of creams, taupes, mauve, and terracotta were finally selected to grace the apartment in a cozy arrangement.

At the project’s completion, the developer loved how the design complimented the architecture and felt inviting and cozy. Every project Ana Claudia Design undertakes ends with a beautiful contemporary interior with custom finishes—a space boasting of originality.
